Nature’s Best Africa awards 2016

I’m very pleased to have won two awards at the 2016 Nature’s Best Africa photographic awards. Both are aerial images of elephants – ‘Elephant crossing’ was awarded first runner up in the Art in Nature category and ‘Elephants and egrets’ was highly honoured in the Black and white category. All the winning photographs will be on display at the Iziko Museum in Cape Town until September.

Nature’s Best Africa award 2015

Elephants from the air. I’m pleased to have been awarded as second runner up in the African Mammals category of the Nature’s Best Africa photographic awards last night. I couldn’t make it to the awards ceremony in Cape Town, but this is the image that won the award. All the winning photographs will be on display at the Iziko South African Museum in Cape Town until 26 September 2015.
