Impala alien!

The Impala have been dropping their young for a couple of weeks now. They are quite difficult to photograph, at least in this area, as they are very nervous and run away as soon as they hear my vehicle. I came across this little guy very early this morning and even though his mum ran off he stood there and looked at me for a full minute before following her. Can’t decide if he is cute or ugly - definitely weird looking though!

Fight!!

Two Impala rams having a vicious fight. They were so engrossed in impaling each other that they didn’t notice we were nearby and nearly ran into the vehicle!

Impala eating a sausage tree flower

This Impala only realised that I was nearby once she had the flower in her mouth. She froze in this position for a couple of seconds before gulping it down and running away! The sausage trees are still flowering like mad providing much needed food for a whole lot of different creatures.
